The following format was adopted at the February 7, 2006 league meeting:

If four (4) berths are awarded to District IV the following format will be used for the ninth week of the season.

Evergreen #1 vs Trico #1, winner #1 seed, loser #2 seed.

Even Years       Trico #1home

Odd Years       Evergreen #1 home

Even years:  Evergreen #2 vs Trico #3 winner is #3 seed.   Evergreen #2 is home team.

Odd years:  #4 seed

Even years:  Evergreen #3 vs Trico #2 winner is #4 seed.  Trico #2 is home team.

Odd years:  #3 seed

If three (3) berths are awarded to District IV the following format will be used:

Evergreen #1 vs Trico#3, Evergreen #1 is home team.  Winner is #1 seed for 2007, #2 seed for 2006

Evergreen #2 vs Trico #2, Evergreen #2 is home team.  Winner is #3 seed for 2006 and 2007.  Trico #2 will be home team in 2007

Evergreen #3 vs Trico #1, Trico #1 is home team.  Winner is #1 seed for 2006, and #2 seed for 2007.

We will set a schedule for the rest of the teams in the league depending on travel and who has not played each other that season.  These pairings will be set by the league, as early as possible before the ninth week.  If one division has more teams, all teams will help locate a game for lowest seed team.

Teams playing the ninth week will split the net earnings from that game.  Teams playing out of SWW1A teams will not have to follow this format.

District IV will not collect the 5% fee for the ninth week games.  (We pay for that later)

In case of a tie that cannot be broken by head to head competition, a Kansas Tie-Breaker will be held to determine playoff teams.  If there are 3 teams tied for one or two spots in playoffs, a coin flip will be held to determine Team A, B and C.  Team A will play Team B in a Kansas Tie-Breaker format, followed by B vs C and the A vs C.  A team must lose twice in a round to be eliminated.  Example:  Team A beats B, and loses to C, Team B loses to A but beats C.  The round will start again. If Team B beat A and C, then A plays B for the last spot.
